HeartMath®

HeartMath® is a scientific approach that explores the physiological mechanisms by which the heart communicates with the brain, thereby influencing information processing, perceptions, emotions and health. Research has determined that heart rhythm is a consistent gauge of inner emotions and stress. It became clear that negative emotions lead to increased disorder in the heart’s rhythm and in the autonomic nervous system, adversely affecting the rest of the body. Since Reiki is such a powerful conductor of positive energy, we are able to demonstrate the calming effects of Reiki on the heart’s rhythm as it actually takes place. The student will experience this visually while interacting with the HeartMath® “Heart Rate Variability” portion of the program. The science of HeartMath® entails a wide variety of positive techniques that contribute to “coherence and autonomic balance,” emotional balance as well as health and technology for business, education and individual purposes. RMC has a licensed HeartMath® Instructor on staff, qualified to teach and demonstrate the positive effects of this scientific procedure.
